Stroop Magnet

The term Stroop magnet is used throughout The 7 Skills to impress™ book. It first arises in Part 1, Chapter 3. Also, see ‘Stroop Test below.’

A metaphor for the psychological pull created by your focus. Based on the Stroop test, a Stroop Magnet draws your attention toward whatever you think about. A positive Stroop Magnet (Outcome) pulls you toward success; a negative Stroop Magnet (fear, avoidance) pulls you toward what you don’t want.
