System 1 is a term used to describe the subconscious mind and is taken from the book Thinking, Fast and Slow (Penguin 2011) by Daniel Kahneman.

It is first mentioned in The 7 Skills to impress™: Part 1, Chapter 3.

According to Daniel Kahneman, System 1 is the fast, automatic part of your brain that makes quick, intuitive judgments. It governs your FFF response and your Edited Reality. System 1 is always on; it sifts and sorts the world to fit your Sacred Beliefs and Sacred Flaws.

System 2 is a term used to describe the conscious mind taken from, ‘Thinking, Fast and Slow’ (Penguin 2011); a book by Daniel Kahneman.

It is first mentioned in The 7 Skills to impress™: Part 1, Chapter 3.

Kahneman used the term for the slow, deliberate conscious thinking brain. System 2 handles reasoning, planning, and decision‑making. It requires more energy and can be hijacked by System 1 when stress is high. The 7 Skills keep System 2 online under pressure.
